matter可以用作名词
matter的基本含义是指与精神相对的“物质,物体”,泛指构成客观物体或宇宙的所有物质,在物理学上指由很少的几种基本粒子构成的物质,在哲学上则指与意识相对的物质,是不可数名词,表静态概念 。
matter也可指思想或表达的“题材”,书籍、演说等的“内容”,与“形式”相对,是不可数名词 。
